Kaylulah Daybed

The concept of Kaylulah --i.e. midday nap-- is both a cultural cornerstone and a sunnah called upon by the Prophet for its wellness properties, including rejuvenation of energy and memory enhancement. In fact, according to the narration of his companions, it is believed the only living creature known to eschew a good midday’s rest is Satan, giving new meaning to the phrase “no rest for the wicked.” ⁠⁠
⁠⁠And it ought to be trusted, that which can provide two of God’s most precious gifts at once: nourishment of the body by way of rest, and the soul by way of mental stimulation. A good nap and a good book, in other words.
